Cosmo Opinionators on Origins Plantscription Eye Cream

Did you know that the skin around your eyes are thinner than the skin on your face? This is why eye creams are so important – they’re specially formulated to slow down the appearance of fine lines, eye bags and dark circles around your eyes.

In Beauty News in the August issue of Cosmo, we got graphic designer Candice to try out the Origins Plantscription Eye Cream, and she saw noticeable improvements to her fine lines after just week.

We also got three other readers to try it out, and here’s what they had to say:

Cosmo Opinionator 1: Pamela Ng, 35

Verdict: I have many undereye fine lines, so whenever I apply concealer, the product build-up within these creases would crack within two to three hours, leaving an uneven appearance which requires constant re-application. The easily-absorbed Origins Eye Cream lightened my dark circles and made fine lines less obvious. Now, not only do I use less concealer, it also doesn’t cake or crack anymore!

Cosmo Opinionator 2: Dawn Cheong, 32

Dawn (Before)

Dawn (After)

Verdict: I do not have many wrinkles, but I want to reduce my dark circles and fine lines beneath my eyes. Origins Eye Cream did just that. The richly-textured cream was easily absorbed and made my skin smooth to the touch. After the third day, I was very surprised to notice that my eye bags were reduced and the appearance of dark eye rings seem to have lessened.

Cosmo Opinionator 3: Selena Hey, 28

Selena (Before)

Selena (After)

Verdict: My main concern would have to be the laugh lines around my eyes. I applied the cream twice a day – once in the morning, and once at night – for about two weeks. I liked the cream’s light, non-greasy texture and how it was so quickly absorbed by my skin. I also liked its mild, natural scent. There was a slight tingling sensation around my eyes the first couple of times I applied the cream, but I think it’s probably due to my sensitive skin. After a fortnight of using the cream, I noticed a visible reduction of the lines around my eyes. In fact, my housemate even commented that my crow’s feet seem to be less obvious now!

Now that you’ve read their reviews, how about trying Origins Plantscription Eye Cream for yourself?
