Cosmo Opinionators on La Mer Moisturizing Soft Cream

So is La Mer really that awesome? Or is it just hype? Three of our readers tried it out and gave us their verdicts.
Cosmo Opinionator 1: Ellison Tan
Verdict: “I initially found the texture a little too thick for my liking, but it could probably be because I was worried for my sensitive skin. I really liked the pleasant scent though! Every morning and before bedtime, I would gently massage a pea-sized portion of the cream into my face. After just one week of using the Moisturizing Soft Cream, I noticed that the problematic areas on my face (namely my T-zone) did not grease up, even during midday. Also, my skin did not have that tight feeling I usually get after being in an air-conditioned space for long hours. Best of all, I have had zero breakouts so far!”

Verdict: One does not review the legendary crème de la crème of moisturisers without some anticipation. Upon application, the Moisturizing Soft Cream did not disappoint with its subtle fresh scent and light texture. It absorbed well into my skin, giving it a dewy finish. After just two days of application, my skin felt significantly softer and smoother.”

Verdict: “I am totally in love with the new Moisturizing Soft Cream! I have dry skin, and applied a generous amount of the cream on my face and neck just before applying makeup. Previously, I had to touch up my makeup at least three times a day (as it would get cakey) but now I only have to touch up once a day. Before trying out this cream, I was using a moisturiser prescribed by my doctor, but it didn’t give me this lovely, dewy finish. My husband has noticed the improvement in my complexion – he recently commented that I look more radiant now!”
