Cosmo Charity Blowout (Evolve Salon, Liang Court)
November 10 & 11, 2012 – You’ve seen our Facebook updates, our Tweets and the numerous Instagram pictures of our inaugural charity blowout. And yes, we finally did it! Over the weekend, the entire Cosmo team worked very hard (up to eight hours at a stretch!), washing a grand total of 351 heads! The response from our readers was overwhelmingly positive, and we couldn’t be happier. Thank you to all of you who came down and supported us – we love you! Cosmopolitan Arrives In Singapore!

August 11, 2011 – Michelle Chia is Singapore’s first ever Cosmo cover girl!
The Singapore debut of the world’s biggest magazine brand was celebrated in style at the Fullerton Bay Hotel last night.
More than 200 celebs, advertising and media professionals, and international guests were at the elegant Clifford restaurant, all eager to be among the first to take a look at the launch issue of Cosmopolitan Singapore.
Guests sipped Cointreaupolitans and Champagne as singer RJ Rosales and the multi-talented Hossan Leong welcomed the first issue with song and a comedic take on Singapore’s changing media landscape culminating in the eventual arrival of Cosmo after a near three-decade ban.
Cosmo’s Bedside Astrologer proved extremely popular, delivering numerology readings in a private room, while a caricaturist sketched with ambidextrous skill guests’ faces to create personalised Cosmo covers.
Published by ACP Magazines and Hearst Magazines International, Cosmo will be on Singapore newsstands from today priced at $5.00.
Vice President, Business Development, Asia Pacific of Hearst Magazines International, the parent company of the Cosmo brand, Patrick Brennan, who flew in fromNew Yorkfor the event, outlined the strength of the Hearst Magazines-ACP partnership, while Deborah Tan, Editor-In-Chief of Cosmopolitan Singapore, shouted loud the main message of the evening: “Cosmo is the right magazine for Singapore right now.”
An army of models clad in scarlet dresses accompanied the big reveal of the first Cosmo Singapore cover featuring gorgeous Singaporean actress Michelle Chia. Michelle had rejected many approaches from media in search of interviews, however, she talked candidly and exclusively to Cosmo about her recent divorce and how in spite of it she remains very much a believer of love.
